I was a part of the Home Economics Club and the USL Sweethearts. Graduated in 64 with a BS in Home Economics Education. I retired in 2011 from the newspaper industry and now devote my time to city beautification, volunteer work and serve as Commissioner on the City of Abbeville Planning Commission and a member of the Vermilion Parish Police Jury Recycling Committee. As a Master Gardener, I am an avid gardener and serve as Chairman of Keep Abbeville Beautiful and co-chair of the Abbeville Cleanest City Contest.
