After graduating from USL, I joined the New Orleans Saints. I worked with the Saints until 1998.

In 1998 I moved to Kansas City for a job in medical sales.

I married Beth Kohout from Omaha, NE in 2000.

We lived in Kansas City until 2004 and transferred back to Lafayette in June of 2004.

I currently work as a consultant for an orthopaedic company called Synthes. Synthes manufactures devices for the field of orthopaedic trauma. I attend surgery with the area orthopaedic surgeons to help make sure the cases go smoothly.

My wife Beth and I just had our first baby. His name is Thomas Joseph Oubre.
Thomas was born on May 30, 2006.
