Obituary: Ronnie J. Robicheaux – Track & Field – Veteran – Feb. 21, 2015

 Ronnie J. Robicheaux passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at his residence in Covington, LA, at the age of 82.  Ronnie was born on Wednesday, November 30, 1932 in New Iberia, LA to Yola and Jack Robicheaux.  He resided in Covington for the past 25 years. 

Ronnie was preceded in death by his brothers, Carroll Jack Robicheaux, Kerry Robicheaux, and Randy Robicheaux.

He is survived by his wife, Grace "Sunshine" Wilson Robicheaux; his former wife, Grace Delcambre Robicheaux and their children, Kathleen Ann Smith (Lenny), Mark Christopher Robicheaux, Renee Francis Robicheaux, and Philip Jack Robicheaux; his sister, Joycelyn Todd; stepchildren, Rocke Wilder (Christy), Paul Wilder, and Mark Wilder; grandchildren, Jennifer Wilder, Rebecca Wilder, and Samantha Wilder; great grandson, Torin James Wilder; and his caretaker, Keith Schultz.  Also survived by his "beloved son", Jasen Tyler Wilder and his "beautiful princess", Jessica Beth Wilder.

In accordance with Ronnie’s wishes, please take a quiet moment to celebrate his life and pray for his family.

Ronnie was a member of the Track & Field Team from 1952 – 56 and also played football for the 1952 & 53 seasons.

He was a military veteran, having served in the Marine Corps from 1950-52 during the Korean War. Our condolences to his family and friends.
