The Red Jacket Reunion in the Fall of 2004 was really great. It was so much fun getting to see friends and to cheer at a football game once more.
Now I’m a Ragin’ Cajun supporter and do my own cheering at football, basketball (men’s & women’s), baseball and softball. I am very proud of the level at which the Ragin’ Cajuns compete in ALL sports. They bring so much attention to our university and attract students to UL.

I was at UL from 1942-1946, graduating with a B.S. in Business Administration. I was a member of the Red Jackets and many other campus organizations.. I am
very active in the Quarterback Club, the Rebounders (and the Basketball
Banquet Committee), the Bullpen Club, and support Lady Cajuns Basketball
and Softball (Centerfield Club member).
I was married to Sidney A. Curley from 1946 until his death in l978, and then married Jesse E. James Nov. 15, 1980 until his death in October 1985.
While my first husband was in school 1946-49), I worked in the Film Library/Extension Office for 1 year, then in the Registrar’s Office 2 years. I worked for Dean Maxime Doucet in l951-52.
