Linda Nance was our basketball coach for my first two years and Jill Kelly coached my third year. That season was the first in which women’s basketball scholarships were issued at USL.
I was a student athletic trainer under Roy Don Wilson in the 1979 football season – that was the first year that female student trainers worked in the football program. It was a great experience!
