Janine Johnson Lafleur – Softball 1987-90 Yvette Girouard had a tremendous impact on my life and the lives of so many other players that she has coached throughout the years. She is a true leader. She modeled for us the importance of hard work and dedication to a task. She taught us that the most important work occurs when no one is watching and when no one is sitting in the stands cheering. She also taught each of us the importance of family. She truly cared about each player on the team. She saw in each player the potential for a future beyond softball. I feel so honored and fortunate to have been coached by Yvette Girouard.
