(MSU-1975) While receiving a masters degree, I worked directly under Coach Shipley with freshman players. After graduation, I began coaching at Sugertown High School 1959-1960 (the gym is still standing). Chosen outstanding coach in State of Louisiana 1961-62. When small schools began to consolidate, I worked as principal at East Beauregard. I received my D. Ed. in 1975, and retired from Louisiana Teachers Association. Since my retirement, I have been actively involved in Real Estate Development. I am very appreciative of getting to play one year under Coach Shipley, he taught me a great deal about self-discipline. * * * * * The enclosed information was provided to Coach Shipley by a mutual friend of both he and Mac. The following is the note the friend sent to Coach Shipley. Prentice Mckellar
