Football: Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns fall out of USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll after loss at TexasTim Buckley, The Advertiser, Sept. 8, 2021 UL has fallen out of the new USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll, which was released Tuesday. The Ragin’ Cajuns are now tied for 14th with Kansas State and Boston College among “others receiving votes” following Saturday’s 38-18 loss at Texas. They had been ranked No. 23 in both the coaches poll and the Associated Press Top 25. UL also fell out of the AP poll, which had the Cajuns 12th among “others receiving votes.” Texas, previously No. 19 in the coaches poll, is now No. 15 in both polls. Coastal Carolina of the Sun Belt Conference moved up from No. 24 to No. 19 in the coaches poll and from No. 22 to No. 17 in the AP Top 25.
