"We are in the midst of an unprecedented situation and time. Our first and utmost priority is the student-athletes’ health and emotional well-being.

I was not only devastated for the loss of this season for both our athletes and their families, but also for the best fans in the country, Cajun Nation. 

We would like thank all individuals involved, including our administration and local community, for their continuous support of our program and teams. Everyone will adjust, prepare and adapt, as we look to continue the storied success of this legendary program in the coming days. Geaux Cajuns!"
