1999 Ragin’ Cajun Baseball Team won the Houston Regional by defeating Texas,13-6; Houston,5-3 & 19-8; Lost to Rice in the Houston Super Regional, 1-10 & 3-8, after winning Game 1 12-8.
The team finished 42-24 and 24-9 in the SBC. The team was the first baseball team to represent the university in the new NCAA Super Regional format.
