Retirement: In May of 2012 I retired from ULL with the Louisiana Teachers
Retirement. I stayed home for three years and then in 2015,
Dr. Robert Carriker, the Head of the History department of ULL
asked me to return to teach Louisiana History, which I did.
Then in May of 2019, I retired for the second time. As much as I loved
teaching, I am enjoying retirement so that I can spend time with Raymond, my
husband, my five children and their families. We are blessed to have nine
grandchildren and two on the way! Thank you, dear Lord, for family!
