A loving father, grandfather, brother and friend went to his eternal home on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the age of 70. Jim loved sports, especially football. He was inducted into the Denham Springs High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2014. Jim also enjoyed spending time on the river. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his two sons, James Kemp and wife Krystal, Kris Kemp; brother, Burt Kemp and wife Lorraine and one grandson, Gunner Kemp. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 2pm until 5pm. He was preceded in death by his former wife, LaFonda Kemp, and his parents, Clarence and Melva Watts Kemp.
