Mickey's Living Memorial for the Coach Faulkinberry Tribute is followed by information he submitted after his LM of 6/8/2010 and posted by Dr. Ed Dugas that day.

Russ Faulkinberry’s Living Memorial, Norbert "Mickey" Bergeron - Football 1965-68, Graduate Assistant Football Coach 1969.

Coach Faulkinberry was a big influence on my life and I thought he was ahead of his time in “thinking outside the box”.

We had great schemes for kick off returns and he worked on our punter in terms of not booming the ball into the end zone, but “pooch kicking” inside the 20 yard line…before you had actually heard of that term.

His discipline was outstanding and he made no exceptions on the rules.
