Football: Football Adds Non-Conference Game at Missouri in 2025; Michigan State in 2024

Ragin’ Cajuns and Tigers reschedule contest canceled due to COVID-19 in 2020

LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Football has added a future non-conference contest to its schedule with the Ragin' Cajuns traveling to take on Missouri on Oct. 4, 2025, at Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium in Columbia, Missouri.

The two programs were scheduled to play on Nov. 21, 2020, but the game was canceled prior to the start of the season due to COVID-19. The October 2025 matchup will be the first meeting between the two programs.

This will be Louisiana's third non-conference game of the 2025 campaign along with a home-game against Rice (Sept. 6) and a road trip to Eastern Michigan (Sept. 20).

Louisiana Football's 2021 season and the fourth year of the Billy Napier Era will arrive soon. Fans are encouraged to secure tickets now, which includes six games at Cajun Field. More information can be obtained by calling the Louisiana Athletics Ticket Office at the Cajundome, (337) 265-2170, or by visiting the office in-person.

Ragin’ Cajuns and Spartans will meet for first time in East Lansing

 

 

LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Football has added another non-conference game to its 2024 schedule, agreeing to terms with Michigan State to play on Sept. 14, 2024, at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing, Michigan.

 

 

The matchup will be the first meeting between the two programs and will mark the first time the Ragin’ Cajuns have faced an opponent from the Big Ten Conference since it played at No. 24 Illinois on Sept. 13, 2008.

 

 

This will be Louisiana’s third non-conference game of the 2025 campaign along with a home-game against Tulane (Sept. 21) and a road trip to New Mexico State (Oct. 19).
