Tim Buckley, The Advertiser, April 8, 2021

The Ragin’ Cajuns spring game at Cajun Field will be held on April 22  at 7 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN.

Parking and admission will be free.

Spectators can expect capacity limits “in order to best maintain distancing measures, along with additional safety notices” due to COVID-19, UL associate athletic director for communications Patrick Crawford said.

Additional details will be announced closer to the game, according to Crawford.

Format of the game has not yet been disclosed.

The Cajuns, who are heading into their fourth season under coach Billy Napier, are about halfway through their NCAA-allotted 15 spring practices.

They completed eight sessions, including their first of three scrimmages, prior to taking time off last week for spring break and are scheduled to resume workouts Saturday.

The Cajuns, 10-1 last year, are scheduled to open the season Sept. 4 at Texas.
