Bob Marlin is No. 1.

The Ragin’ Cajuns coach moved into first place in all-time Sun Belt Conference victories with Monday night’s 76-74 win over Texas-Arlington at the Cajundome.

Marlin is now 118-81 in SBC games, all at UL since taking over in 2010.

He passed current Ole Miss coach Kermit Davis Jr., who coached former Sun Belt member Middle Tennessee, which now belongs to Conference USA.

Marlin came to UL from Southland Conference-member Sam Houston State, where he coached 12 seasons. He won an NJCAA national championship in 1993 at Pensacola State College.
