LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's tennis team (7-3) kicks off a three-match home stretch with a match on Thursday, Feb. 22, against the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders with first serve scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at Cajun Courts.

CAJUNS FALL IN I-10 RIVALRY: On Sunday, Feb. 18, the Cajuns make the quick trip west down I-10 to face the McNeese State Cowgirls in the I-10 Rivalry, losing the match 7-0 in Lake Charles, La.

NOWHERE LIKE BEING HOME: The Cajuns have been a tough team to beat on their home courts, as their record sits at 6-1 over the first month and a half of the season.  In fact, they started the season going 6-0 at home, winning against LSU-Alexandria, Southern, Northwestern State and they took a doubleheader against Xavier (La.) before finally dropping a match, 4-3, to Louisiana Tech.  Despite the loss to the Lady Techsters, Cajuns Courts have been Louisiana's friendly confines and they've made sure to take care of business at home.

WHAT THE ISLANDERS BRING: Texas A&M-Corpus Christi enters the match with the Cajuns sitting at 3-2, having not won a match away from home, but they've entered the 2018 season as the two-time Southland Conference Champions and they've had at least 20 wins in the past two seasons.

It's the third straight season that the Islanders have made the trip to Lafayette, and it's the seventh time in the past decade that the two teams have met on the court.  Over those 10 seasons the Islanders own a 6-1 record over the Cajuns, and Louisiana will look to get their first win against the Islanders since a 4-2 win on Feb. 18, 2010.

Both Friday and Saturday the Louisiana will host a Canned Food Drive and Friday night is Jambalaya Night

LAFAYETTE – It's a busy weekend at Cajun Courts for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team as they'll host, starting on Friday, Feb. 23 and wrapping up on Saturday, Feb. 24, Tennessee Tech, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and East Carolina along with a pair of promotions going on through the weekend, starting with a canned good food drive with Food Net Food Bank and Jambalaya Night on Friday.

CANNED GOODS DRIVE: Fans are encouraged to bring canned goods to Friday and Saturday's action and they'll be collected throughout the day and donated to a great cause by Food Net Food Bank.

EVERYONE LOVES JAMBALAYA: On Friday night starting at 5:45 p.m., the first 50 fans that show up to the matches will get free Jambalaya to enjoy during the Cajuns' match against East Carolina.

PARKING FOR THE WEEKEND: With the busy weekend surrounding Cajun Courts, with baseball and softball each having games being contested during the matches, the parking situation will be slightly different.  Fans who want to attend the matches will have to park in general parking across from Cajun Field.

That lot is located to the right when first entering the Cajun Field parking lot from Congress, and fans can park anywhere in the first lot located there.  Representatives from the University will be located throughout the lot to direct any fans who might have questions about where they can and can't park.

MATCHES A PLENTY: Louisiana will play three matches over the weekend, but they won't be alone in getting in action on the court.  The three teams who are making the trip will play matches against Louisiana and among themselves over the weekend.
