Baseball: Louisiana Baseball Holds First Team Practice

Story LinksLAFAYETTE, La. – The 18th-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team held its first full-squad practice on Friday in preparation for the 2018 season.
Practices Open To Public
All practices are open to the public with the team working out from 2-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and TBA on weekends. For practice times and updates follow the team on Twitter @RaginCajunsBSB.
Louisiana opens the 2018 season on Friday, Feb. 16 at Texas in the first of three games at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. After a mid-week road trip to Southeastern Louisiana, the Ragin' Cajuns host Wright State in the home opener on Feb. 23 at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park.
Season Tickets On Sale
2018 season tickets are on now sale for Russo Park. Fans can purchase season tickets online at RaginCajuns.com or through the Ragin' Cajuns Ticket Office from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday in person or over the phone - (337) 265-2106 or (337) 265-2104.
Harris Tabbed Top Prospect
Junior left-hander Hogan Harris was tabbed the No. 50 by D1Baseball on their Top 100 College Prospects list earlier this month. Harris posted a 5-2 record in 2017 with 2.66 ERA in 67.2 innings pitched. The Lafayette, La., native ranked top 10 in the Sun Belt in strikeouts (87) and opponent's batting average (.188).
