Baseball: Premium Enhancements and Seating Allocation Announced For Russo Park
LAFAYETTE – With the start of the 2018 Louisiana baseball season less than four months away, the Ragin' Cajuns Athletics Department has announced premium seating area enhancements to the newly renovated M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park as well as a seating allocation process that will get underway in November.
One of the changes this year at Russo Park is structural enhancements to the patio boxes down the first and third base lines. Each patio box will be fitted with fixed bar stool chairs as well as a baseball themed high top table.
Patio box holders will also see added amenities this year with two reserved parking passes and two Stadium Club passes given to each box.
Additionally, loge boxes have been added to Russo Park on the upper concourse located above the first and third base bleachers. The loge boxes will also be fitted with fixed bar stool chairs and baseball themed high top tables.
Individuals who have made the minimum campaign contribution will be eligible to select loge box seats. All remaining inventory will be put back into the Russo Park seating allocation process.
Loge box holders will receive a minimum of two reserved parking passes and two Stadium Club passes.
The baseball seating allocation process will begin on Nov. 28 and will be based off of the RCAF priority points system, while calls will be made to patio box holders starting next week.
Stadium Club passes will also be available for purchase for fans not located in the patio boxes, loge boxes or suites. Stadium Club membership will be sold based on the priority points system.
The Stadium Club at Russo Park offers members access to premium food and beverage options not available in the rest of the stadium. Members will also have access to the conditioned area beginning 90 minutes before first pitch throughout each contest along with elevator access.
The Ragin' Cajuns open the 2018 home season on Feb. 23 with a three-game series against Wright State at Russo Park.
