Men’s Tennis to Open Play at Fayetteville Futures
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Louisiana Men's Tennis will continue its fall season at the Fayetteville Futures on Monday, Nov. 2, at the University of Arkansas. The ITF will run from Monday until potentially Sunday, Nov. 8, if Louisiana continues to advance in the tournament.
Ivailo Keremedchiev is the first Ragin' Cajun to compete in the event and will battle Justin Roberts (ASU) in the qualifying round, the highest seeded player in the tournament.
Last year, Keremedchiev made a name for himself in the fall tournament, becoming the first Ragin' Cajun to advance to the quarterfinals at the professional event since Jake Wynan did so in 2014.
The tournament will continue throughout the week and features Keremedchiev, Oriol Fillat Gimenez, Kacper Dworak and Alejandro Sanchez Gonzalez.
