Track and Field: ASU Invitational Complete Results – Cajuns Men & Women Finish Third
www.ragincajuns.com — It was an eventful day all around for the Ragin’
Cajuns track and field team as they finished third in both the men’s and
women’s overall scoring at the Arkansas State Invitational, its second meet
of the indoor season, on Sunday afternoon.
In all the Cajuns won nine events and set a half-dozen personal records.
There were eight teams in all. Arkansas State won on both the men’s and
women’s side with a score of 147 and 179.50, respectively.
Jacob Domingue won first place in the shot put (17.19 meters, 56-04,75) and
broke the school record in the weight throw at 16.13 meters (52-11).
O’Daylon Thibeaux set a personal record with his first place finish in the
triple jump with a jump of 14.62 meters (47-11.25). He also set a personal
best in the 100 meter hurdle.
Jasmine Anderson picked up a first-place finish in the 55 meter hurdles with
a time of 8.05. She was also part of the Cajuns 4×400 relay team that won
first place.
Justin Jones finished second in the 55 meter dash with a personal best time
of 6.52. Breshaud Woodard picked up 10 points for the Cajuns with his first-
place win in the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 7.57. The Cajun men also
won the 4×400 meter relay.
Chris Roy placed first in the pole vault with a height of 5.07 meters (16-
7.50).
Jasmine Manuel picked up a first place medal in the triple jump with a
height of 11.44m (37-06.50), as well as a second-place finish in the long
jump with a length of 5.55m (18-02.50).
April Colomb set a personal record in the 800 meter with a time of 2:22.43.
Jordan McGee set a personal record in 800 meter.
Antwain Keyes won first place in the high jump with a height of 2.09 meters
(6-10.25).
