New digs
UL’s Gridiron Alumni Club had a new location and a new lid for its first tailgate gathering of the season Saturday. The group, made up of former Cajun football players, has acquired a 40-foot tent that includes the group’s logo and now locates next to the Cajun Courts tennis complex.
"This will help spread the word of what we’re trying to accomplish now and in the coming years," said GAC president Peter Batton. "It will also make us easy to spot and let people know about our group."

Under “The Big Top” at 2:00 p.m. for an afternoon of tailgating at Cajun Field this Saturday, September 15th!
There will be lots of food on the grill and in the pot including The Carrier’s own version of Cowboy Stew!
We promise it’ll be something everyone will enjoy.
As always we will have plenty of food, tables and chairs but we
ask that you please bring your own ice chests
filled with your favorite beverages.
Kick off is at 6:00 p.m. Spend the afternoon with us! We ask that everyone please update their information at the check in table which will be located at the main entrance of the “Big Top.”
